London stabbing in Higham Hill investigated by police after teen is slashed in the neck

A FOURTEEN-year-old boy has been slashed across the neck in East London as knife crime continues to ravage the capital.

Cops are investigating following the incident which occurred at 1:40pm today on Higham Hill Road in Waltham Forest.

The lad had been slashed across the neck and Police and the London Ambulance Service attended.

An investigation is on going with cops still unsure as to the motive behind the attack.

His condition is non life threatening.

At least 37 people have been fatally stabbed - and 62 overall killed - in London since the beginning of the year.

Met Police records show 37, 443 recorded knife offences and 6,694 recorded gun offences across the UK in the year up to September 2017.
