Mel B continues her Spice Girl wardrobe flashback by wearing a Scary Spice leopard print robe

MEL B has continued to drop major throwbacks to her Spice Girl days as she donned a leopard print ‘Scary’ robe for her latest day on America’s Got Talent.

The 42-year old star was unwinding in between takes for the latest series of the US show, and donned a pair of bright purple Uggs as she threw her silky robe over her outfit.

Flipping up the hood and donning some shades, Mel was escorted by bouncers through the California filming lot and looked ready for action in a way that would make boxer Rocky look proud.

As she walked away, it was revealed that the back of the robe was branded with the word ‘Scary’ – her Spice Girl alter ego nickname.

Mel has been taking serious inspiration from her 90s girl band days over the past week, and has been keeping fans hooked with her throwback outfits.

In particular, she was known for her animal print looks which often included catsuits and midriff baring two pieces matched with her classic afro hairstyle.

On Thursday, she was seen walking around LA in a skintight purple and red jumpsuit – which was the same one she wore in the Spice Girls film, SpiceWorld back in 1997.

She later posted a photo of herself then and now in the outfit on Instagram, and proudly boasted: “It still fits!”

Just days before that, Mel was out and about in West Hollywood where she wore a bright jacket with a camo design and classic Wannabe line 'Ziga-Zig-Ha' written on the back.

It's a good job Mel is wearing her Spice Girls clothes now - as it might be a while before she gets a chance to join her bandmates again as the Spice Girls reunion has been thrown into chaos.

The Nineties group are rumoured to be reforming, but there are fears Victoria Beckham has cold feet.

Mel C, otherwise known as Sporty Spice,  has revealed the fashionista has pulled out of their longed-for comeback, putting the whole project into doubt.

Fans had rejoiced when Victoria finally seemed on board after years of resisting a reunion - but just last week their manager Simon Fuller hinted at trouble, saying that “four not five” of the girls were on board.

Speaking exclusively at The Prince’s Trust Awards at the London Palladium, Mel C said: “Victoria has been quite vocal, it’s really not something she wants to do at this time.

“I think it has to be all five, so it’s tricky.” And fans will face a double disappointment as Mel confirmed there are “no plans” for them to tour as a foursome.

She said: “It’s very early stages, we’re not talking about new music or going out on the road together at this time.

“It was just getting together to reignite all the things that we have had together and to work with Simon.”
