A MAJOR rescue operation was launched after a car reportedly plunged off a cliff in Kent.
One person was reported to be inside the vehicle when it went over the edge in Kingsdown, near Deal.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance and lifeboats, charged to the scene just before 3pm on Sunday, KentOnline reports.
