Tunbridge Wells house fire - Woman in her 80s killed as blaze rips through Kent home
A WOMAN in her 80s has died following a house fire in Tunbridge Wells.
Crews rushed to Mount Sion in Tunbridge Wells at 1am this morning after reports of a large fire at a property.

Three fire engines were sent to the scene, with the first arriving within three minutes.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued the elderly woman from the smoke-filled property and extinguished a fire in a ground floor room.
She was then taken to hospital by paramedics and the fire was brought under control by 3.20am.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: "A woman in her 80s who was found at the address was taken to a local hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service where she later died.

"Her next of kin have been informed and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the death."
The cause of the fire is currently not known but is being investigated.
